Kick boxer Titus Tugume has come out to indicate he would have performed better at the recently concluded World kick boxing championships if he had better preparation and facilitation.

Tugume also known as the Hard Rock told Chimpreports, his aim was to win the top prize in each category that he was involved but he settled for less because of a few challenges.

“I’m always a winner and my target was to get gold but because I had poor preparations and arrived late, that disorganized me,” said Tugume.

“I was supposed to play in the full contact category but by the time I arrived in Florida they were playing the semifinals,” he explained.

“But all the same, I thank God for the success that I achieved because it wasn’t easy,” he added.

Tugume won bronze in the light contact style and a silver medal in the kick light style in the World kick boxing championship that was held between 23rd-30th September in Orlando, Florida.

However, Tugume’s manager Corinne Hafner Matovu revealed that the kick boxer sustained an injury in his wrist but hopes he will recover soon.

“He got an inflammation on his right hand but he went through a scan and we are waiting for the results,” she said.

Tugume is expected to play next month in Turkey.
