Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) football club host Sports Club Villa at Phillip Omondi stadium on Tuesday in the top of the table clash.

Defending champions, KCCA lead the logo with 25 points while Shafik Bisaso’s charges occupy second spot four points adrift the summit but with a game in hand.

ChimpSport’s Joel Muyita looks at a combined XI from the two teams ahead of the clash on Tuesday evening.

Goalkeeper

Benjamin Ochan (KCCA FC)
One of the few players who has played all the games for KCCA this season keeping four clean sheets in 11 games. He beats SC Villa’s Bugembe Ashadu and Yasin Mugabi by a mile who have occasionally conceded “simple” goals.

Dennis Okot (KCCA FC)
Okot makes the combined XI because SC Villa’s Joseph Nsubuga is suspended.  Dennis Okot has blown hot and cold this season but still stands high above Ayub Kisaalita who is likely to deputise Nsubuga at the right back position.

Joseph Ochaya(KCCA FC)
This is a no contest. Ochaya has three goals and three assists to his name this season and thus starts ahead of Yeserri Waibi despite tremendous improvement from him this campaign.

Ibrahim Kiyemba (SC VILLA)
Since joining SC Villa at the start of the season from Lweza, Kiyemba has established himself as a mainstay in the SC Villa team helping the team keep six clean sheets in 10 games.

Timothy Awany (KCCA FC)
Awany makes a timely return from injury ahead of the game against SC Villa. He is good at game reading, good in aerial duels and above all, Awany is comfortable on the ball and usually ignites KCCA’s attacks deep within the heart of defence. He beats Paul Mbowa for this slot.

Tadeo Lwanga (SC Villa)
Popularly referred to as “Mr.Software,” Lwanga gives cover to SC Villa’s defence the reason why they have conceded just eight goals. In addition, he offers a better game reading and interception than Isaac Kirabira who is likely to start as the holding midfielder for KCCA FC with Ivan Ntege falling out of favour. Lwanga returns to SC Villa starting team after missing the game against Express due to suspension.

Godfrey Lwesibawa (SC VILLA)
Arguably the best player this season so far, Lwesibawa has been firing on all cylinders directly involving himself in 10 of the  16 goals SC Villa have scored, netting twice and assisting on eight occasions.

Muzamir Mutyaba(KCCA FC)
He has continued from his fantastic form last season and has so far scored three goals and made four assists. Mutyaba usually delivers the defence splitting passes for KCCA’s attacking force and the game play rotates around him.

Geoffrey Sserunkuma(KCCA  FC)
The adage old is gold would be the best description for Sserunkuma. He leads the scoring charts this season with seven goals to his name.

Alex Kitata (SC VILLA)
Christened Benzema, Alex Kitata has enjoyed fantastic form since his debut against Proline scoring four goals. In the combined XI he gets ahead of Derrick Nsibambi.

AbduMalik Vitalis Tabu (SC VILLA)
Tabu has been in sublime form since the start of the season getting onto the score sheet on five occasions making him the most scoring midfielder this campaign. He gets edges Brian Majwega who is yet to hit the ground since his return.
