
Airforce Secondary School, Entebbe reigned high in the 3rd edition of the Entebbe Schools Woodball Championship held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Lake Victoria School.
The competition brought together 95 participants from nine primary and secondary schools.
Isaac Lipekene from Entebbe Junior Primary School scored 62 to lead the boys while Jemimah Kyomuhendo from St. Agnes Primary School was the winner in girls’ category.
Air force SS trio of Azaabo Kizito, Mathias Kizito and Edson Tumwine completed a podium swoop in secondary schools boys competition. Laurence Upendo Mligo from Mary Reparatrix Girls School broke the dominance of the Airforce team to win the secondary school girls.
She was joined by Gloria Apio and Irene Dawa.
The winners qualified for the 7th ICPAU Juniors Woodball Championship due June 11, 2016 at King’s College Budo.
The next qualification event will be the Kampala Schools Woodball Championship on Saturday, April 09, 2016 at Buziga Islamic S.S.
