Beach Soccer: Eight Games to End First Round

The 2016/17 Pepsi National Beach Soccer League Round One Concludes on Sunday, November 27th at Lido Beach in Entebbe.

Eight games are on the list with four in both the monsoon and Hurriken groups.

Struggling moneybags, Dalumba International will be turning to league top scorer Kokas Opejo (11 goals) to lift the team spirit when they face former winners MUBS.

Both sides boost of two wins and six points though the scholars have played one game less than their day’s opponent.

Table leaders YMCA have a rather easier game on paper against relegation rooted IUEA.

YMCA lead the pack with twelve points from four wins and a loss while IUEA have lost all their five games.

Monsoon Group

St Lawrence could end the first round with a perfect record if they register a win over newcomers Mengo hospital.

The leaders have picked six wins out of six while their opponents have exactly the opposite, six losses in six.

St Lawrence have scored the most number of goals (30) in the league whereas the medics have swallowed 34 – the worst record.
