Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers Sports Club has confirmed it’s full technical team entrusted with coaching duties ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The Venoms have added Paul Kiwanuka and Francis Mugerwa as immediate assistants to head coach Fred Kajoba.
Kiwanuka reunites with Kajoba following their five-year spell at Bright Stars FC.
Mugerwa joins the four-time league champions from Maroons FC where he served the same role under Douglas Bamweyana before the duo were sacked towards the end of the just concluded season.
He also had stints with Arua based side Onduparaka Football Club and Bright Stars FC.
The technical team also has Ronald Ssali as the youth coach while Ibrahim Mugisha is the goalkeepers’ coach with Edward Ssali assuming the fitness trainer role.
Ahead of next season, the Kitende outfits have already added Dissan Galiwango (Express FC), Ibrahim Orit (Mbarara City) and Jamil Kalisa (Bright Stars) to their roster.
Vipers will represent Uganda in next season’s CAF Champions League and will feature in several domestic competitions including the Super Eight, Uganda Cup and the FUFA Super Cup.
