FUFA Big League entity Nyamityobora Football Club has continued to beef up its squad in preparation for the highly anticipated competitive 2020/21 season.
Coached by Richard Makumbi, Nyamityobora FC on Saturday confirmed signing hard tackling defender Wahab Lwanga
The 26-year old lanky center back joins Abanyakare from another second division side Dove Football Club on a three-year deal.
He becomes the fifth signing of the club after Brian Nyabwina (offensive midfielder), Mubarak Kakooza (winger), Ismail Aliganyira Faizol and center forward Gaand Juma Sabiti.
Last season, Nyamityobora finished in 5th place with 13 points in the Rwenzori Group after the FUFA Big League season was ended prematurely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
FUFA set 29th October 2020 as the tentative kick off date for next season’s Big League should the situation get back to normalcy.
