National Basketball League side Kampala International University (KIU) Titans have officially unveiled Oscar Muge in their pursuit to bolster their squad ahead of the new competitive season.
Muge returns to Titans on a two-year contract having spent the past year at JKL Dolphins. The center is upbeat ahead of the 2021 season and anticipates to guide the team to Championship.
“I’m happy to be back here. I was here for four years and this is like a home to me. I have been working individually and the goal is to go that extra mile and hopefully win it all,” Muge said during his unveiling on Friday.
During his first spell with the Titans, the 6’6 center led the team to the National Basketball League finals in 2017 before loosing to City Oilers.
“The team has it’s own goal which is known and as a player, the target is to win the championship this 2021 season. I feel I have the same energy that I had before and this time that I have not been playing league basketball, I have been doing my personal trainings and I believe I’m ready for this coming season,” he added.
During his first stint with KIU Titans, he featured for the club from 2016 to 2019 and joins Denis Balungu as another returnee who was unveiled earlier this week from Betway Powers.
