Onduparaka Part Ways With Coach Bainomugisha

Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka Football Club has confirmed partying ways with tactician Vialli Bainomugisha.

The development was been confirmed in a club statement issued on Tuesday morning.

“Onduparaka FC announces the termination of the contract of MR. BAINOMUGISHA VIALLI as Head Coach with immedite effect. The management of the club has arrived at this decision after careful consideration and for the best interest of both parties.”

“We would like to thank Coach Vialli for the tremendous contribution made towards the growth and development of Onduparaka FC,” read the statement.

Reliable sources disclosed to ChimpReports that the had left the Caterpillars in February this year on account of accumulated salary arrears.

Bainomugisha reportedly spent months without receiving a single penny on his bank account since September 2020. By the time of his departure, he had managed only five games of the 2020/21 season.

He registered two victories against debutants Kitara and MYDA, drew twice with Wakiso Giants and Express and lost only one game to giants KCCA FC.

Since then, he’s assistant Abdu Wamboya has been in charge of the club on an interim basis since then.

This website further understands that the Arua based entity is poised to announce former Masavu FC and BUL FC gaffer Joseph Mutyaba as their next head coach on a permanent basis.

Onduparaka FC is currently eighth on the table with 21 points from 15 games. They will pay a visit to Busoga United on Wednesday 31st at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru when the second round commences.
